DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Savannah College of Art and Design cheerleading team finished in fourth place in the Open Division of the National Cheerleading Association Daytona Beach Classic Sunday (April 6) afternoon.
The Bees competed in a two minute, 15 second routine consisting of a combination of dance, cheer, gymnastics and stunting. The routine was scored by five judges and received a perfect score in Legalities. SCAD competed against teams - which included colleges and universities, as well as all-star teams - from Massachusetts, Illinois, and several from Florida.
Members of the SCAD cheerleading team include Amanda Baker, Josh Bernett, Paris Boler, Anne Cloninger, Patrick Darby, Eleni Flegas, Jenny Husman, Samantha Pattillo and Rob Poulsen.
