SCAD places eighth at Stetson

DELAND, Fla. - The Savannah College of Art and Design men's cross country team competed at the Sodexho Stetson Hatter Invitational Friday (Oct. 16) evening at the Sperling Sports Complex.
The Bees finished eighth out of 18 teams in the 8K race with 205 points. East Tennessee State University took the race with 65 points.
Cesar Fernandez Lazaro led the men with his fourth-place finish in the 141-person field with a time of 26:11.
John Sutherland was next for the Bees in 47th place with a time of 28:52 followed by
Ben Harrison (51st, 28:57),
Carl Dominique (59th, personal best 29:27),
Ed McDaniel (60th, 29:28),
Nick Curtis (64th, 29:36),
Patrick Cooley (68th, 30:01), Dillon Brinlee (81st, 30:57) and
Joe Housel (82nd, 31:11).
SCAD returns to action Oct. 23 at the KSU Owl Invitational in Kennesaw, Ga.
