KENNESAW, Ga. - The Savannah College of Art and Design men's cross country team competed at the KSU Owl Invitational Friday (Oct. 23) at Noonday Park.
The Bees place third out of five teams in the 5K race with 82 points. Host Kennesaw State University won the race with 24 points.
Cesar Fernandez Lazaro was the top finisher on the men's side for the Bees as he came in fifth place with a time of 16:17.74.
Patrick Cooley placed 11th with a time of 17:14.30 followed by
Ben Harrison (21st, 17:40.65),
John Sutherland (17:59.21),
Carl Dominique (27th, 18:18.77),
Ed McDaniel (30th, 18:24.99),
Nick Curtis (33rd, 18:38.58) and
Joe Housel (36th, 19:29.70).
Both teams return to action Nov. 7 at The Sun Conference Championships in Babson Park, Fla.
