SAVANNAH, Ga. - The current Savannah College of Art and Design men's golf team holds a 10-5 advantage over the SCAD alumni team after the first day of the 2009 SCAD All-America Matches Friday (Nov. 20) at the Wilmington Island Club,.
The All-America matches are a three-day event that pits the current team against SCAD's former All-Americans in Ryder Cup format. Each match is worth three points with one point each for winning the front nine, the back nine and overall score. The first team to 29 points wins the SCAD All-America/Orchin Cup.
Play continues Saturday (Nov. 21) at the Wilmington Island Club.
