Bees wrap up regular season with 2-0 shutout over Barons

MOUNT VERNON, Ga. - The Savannah College of Art and Design men's soccer team recorded their seventh shutout of the season as the Bees ended the regular season with a 2-0 victory over Brewton-Parker College Tuesday (Nov. 3) afternoon.
The Bees improved to 11-3-2 and will return to action Saturday (Nov. 7) for a 3 p.m. semifinal match against Warner University in the 2009 The Sun Conference Tournament at the SCAD Athletics Complex.
SCAD took a 1-0 lead in the 13th minute when
Miles Gallagher scored his first goal of the season off an assist from
Ellert Hreinsson. The Bees added an insurance goal when
Javier Melon Gil scored off an
Ally MacDonald assist in the 58th minute. It was Melon Gil's fourth score of the campaign.
