WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -
Lisa Ohberg's goal with 50 seconds remaining in regulation was the difference as top-seeded Northwood (Fla.) University rallied for a 3-2 win over No. 4 Savannah College of Art and Design in the semifinals of the 2009 The Sun Conference Women's Soccer Tournament Saturday (Nov. 7) afternoon.

The 13th-ranked Seahawks, who rallied from a two-goal deficit, improved to 13-4-0 while the snake-bitten Bees ended their season at 8-8-0. Northwood advances to the title match Friday (Nov. 13) where they will host Embry-Riddle (Fla.) University, who defeated Webber International University 5-0 in the other semifinal.

Melissa Feuerriegel gave the Bees a 1-0 lead 1:40 into the match off an assist from Cydney Parkes. It was Feurriegel's team-leading 16th goal. It also marked her 61st goal in her illustrious four-year career at SCAD.
Besides being the all-time leading goal scorer in university history, she finished as the all-time scorer in assists (28) and points scored (150).

The Bees doubled their lead when Amanda Barj knocked in a rebound in the 30th minute for her eighth goal. Northwood began its comeback in the opening minutes of the second half as Adi Jurman scored in the 52nd minute. The Seahawks tied the match at 2 five minutes later on Julia Hassall's goal. It would stay that way before Ohberg's winning strike from 30 yards out in the final minute.
