SAN ANTONIO – For the second consecutive year the Savannah College of Art and Design Web site was recognized by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics-Sports Information Directors of America.
The Bees' Web site
www.scadathletics.com finished tied for third place in the contest with Goshen College (
www.goleafs.net) among the nearly 300 member institutions in the NAIA. The contest ranked the institution's athletics site based on five categories – organization, navigation, content, visual design and overall experience.
Only Lewis-Clark State College (
www.lcsc.edu/athletics) and the Concordia (Calif.) University (
www.cuieagles.com) were judged better than SCAD's site. The SCAD athletics Web site, which was designed by ICS using its SIDEARM technology and maintained by Sports Information Director
Michael MacEachern, was the lone The Sun Conference one to be ranked among the top 10.
